Drive-in racks
Drive-in racks are distinguished by the way pallets are stored and sorted. Using a drive-through system, forklifts can only load and unload pallets on one side of the shelf. It's called a "drive-in" because trucks only use one side to access the system. Drive-in pallet racks are best suited for last in, first out (LIFO) systems and products that do not need to be moved at rapid speeds.
