Accessories such as stairs, handrails, vertical elevators, doors and safety cages enhance safety and facilitate the flow of products from one floor to another. There are several structural systems that can accommodate loads, column spans and space uses of the mezzanine floor racking system. Medium and heavy duty design for hot-rolled steel beam-to-bracket systems, or cold-formed steel sandwich, with perforated insert cable or spray systems. The type of mezzanine floor to be installed was considered in the initial design calculation.
These work platforms are railed off to create a safe space for storage and picking work. Protective kickboards are also installed at the bottom of the same area to prevent objects from falling off the mezzanine.
